There’s a company in town that makes genuine Aussie-style meat pies. I must try them.

I had no idea you couldn’t get these in America. These are a staple of my life!
The Coles down the road from work has $3 lamb and rosemary pies.
Oh mate.

$3 Lamb and Rosemary pies from a servo sound like heaven. In Canada, you can only get them at the odd bakery and butcher.

It is heaven. It’s about as cheap as you can get a lunch in the city, and it’s satisfying af.
That’s so strange. Can you get fish and chips?

Almost everywhere, but it’s not the same. It’s been too long since I’ve had a proper pie.

What is an ‘Aussie style’ pie?
How if at all is it different from a regular steak pie?
EDIT:
Just looked it up. Apparently it’s ‘similar to the United Kingdom’s steak pie’.
Though it is vague about descriptions of minced meat, gravy, steak, etc...
For me it’s got to be peppered steak pie, steak pie, meat and potato pie, minced beef and onion, meat (pork and beef) pie, etc... also a balti chicken or chicken tikka pie can be awesome.
